Invent a Gadget - Tycoon
Invent a Gadget - Tycoon is a free Roblox game by Voltix Labs, currently in open beta. You catch runaway gadgets, fuse 2 to 4 of them into new inventions at the workbench and run your own store. There is no stealing and no fighting.
What is Invent a Gadget about?
The gadgets broke out and are running through a city by the river, with day and night and up to 8 players per server. Each gadget family escapes its own way, and rarer ones are smarter. Stands, combo sets and store upgrades grow your business. Your stands keep earning while you are away, and there is a new gadget every day.
It has nothing to do with the 2001 Windows game Gadget Tycoon. The names are just similar.
A Roblox game where you invent things: how the workbench works
At the workbench you fuse 2 to 4 gadgets into one invention. Every invention has its own look, and the game description counts over 1.6 million possible inventions. Fuse 4 gadgets into one invention and you earn the Mega Inventor badge.
What is a World First?
A World First means you were the first person in the world to make a certain invention. It is a global race. Every invention you find first carries your name, and your World First stays forever.
Wearing inventions as gear
Inventions do more than sit in your store. You can wear them too, for speed, jump, glide, reach, radar or luck.
Ida's book, residents and rebirths
Ida's book holds 36 sketches waiting to be filled. The city also has residents whose problems only your inventions can solve. A rebirth starts you over with a lasting bonus, and you keep your inventions and Ida's book.
Is there fighting or stealing?
No. The game has no fighting and no stealing, and all odds are shown.
How much does Invent a Gadget cost?
The game itself is free. If you want, you can buy five game passes with Robux (as of 6 November 2026):

- First Invention: You made your first invention in the Invention Lab.
- World First!: You invented something nobody in the world had made before.
- Five Minutes In, Ten Minutes In, Fifteen Minutes In: You played for 5, 10 and 15 minutes.
- Second Sketch: You filled your second sketch in Ida's book.
- First Page Full: You filled every sketch on the first page of Ida's book.
- Ten Sketches: You filled ten sketches in Ida's book.
- Ida's Book Complete: You filled every sketch in Ida's book.
- Mega Inventor: You fused 4 gadgets into one invention.
- First Rare Catch: You caught your first rare runaway. It appeared just for you.
- Voltix Labs Member: You joined the Voltix Labs community.
- Back Again: You came back to invent on a second day.
- Lab Regular: You came to invent on 7 different days.
- First Rebirth: You started over for the first time. You keep your inventions and Ida's book.
- Trick Collector: Your companions showed you every trick and move, and your trick album is full.
- Exhibition Star: Your invention was one of the week's 10 favorites at the inventors' exhibition.

Invent a Gadget Tycoon codes
The code VOLTIX only works in Voltix Mall Tycoon for now. It does not work in Invent a Gadget Tycoon.
